Compassion & Humility

It has occurred to me that Compassion really derived from Humility. We see in others the things we value and dislike in ourselves. We are bound by those connections to either help & support, or fight against others. There are more things in common between us, than the things that could divide us. And the only distinctions between us that ought to be considered are those that are voluteered, not sought after or accused.
