The Relative Value in the Timing of Truth

There are some things that have relative value in time. Money, for example. When you have plenty of it, but it's not doing anything, it has very little relative value. It's only when it's working for you, and hopefully, in a positive direction, that it does anything. The value of $20 to a homeless person, hungry and cold, is far greater, than that of the professional with a wad in his wallet.

Truth, like money, seems to have a relative value in time too. When the timing of the release of some information is properly controlled, the value of that truth can be minimized, or it can be exaggerated. Everyone does this as a means of managing and controlling the risks and benefits in our lives. On a grand scale, this is how the media and politics move issues around. On a personal scale, this is how some individuals are more successful than others.

A truth revealed at an inappropriate, or uncontrolled moment can have disastrous consequences to those involved. But presented at a time of less relevance, when the other parties don't have the reaction time/space, and it's becomes diluted in the noise of life. It's still the same truth, just our perspectives of it that's moved.
